White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
  

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling)

Burger buns (4)

Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, or other condiments

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.

    Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Be careful not to overmix to maintain tenderness.

      Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

        Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

          Once hot, place the chicken patties onto the grill/skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on one side without moving them, allowing a nice sear to form.

            Flip the patties and continue cooking for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

              During the last minute of cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a separate skillet until golden brown.

                Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of the bun, adding your choice of toppings, and topping with the other half of the bun.

                  Serve immediately with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
