Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 oz penne pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest for a few minutes. Slice into strips.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine: Add the cooked penne pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy sauce until everything is well-coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes over low heat to warm through.

Serve: Divide the pasta among plates, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy your delightful Marry Me Chicken Pasta!
