Ingredients

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, low-fat)

1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat)

1 cup diced cucumber

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup cooked chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheese (optional)

Pita chips or fresh veggies for dipping

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and cottage cheese. Mix well until creamy and smooth.

Add the diced cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and parsley to the bowl. Stir to combine all the ingredients evenly.

Pour in the lemon juice and sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the mixture. Stir again until all ingredients are well blended.

Gently fold in the cooked chickpeas, taking care not to mash them, for a delightful texture.

If you’d like some extra creaminess and flavor, fold in the shredded low-fat cheese (optional).

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Serve chilled with pita chips or fresh veggies for dipping. Enjoy your healthy high-protein dip by the pool!
