Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooked pasta or rice (for serving)

Instructions

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Add Heavy Cream: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

Season: Stir in the paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let the sauce cook for another minute.

Incorporate Cheese: Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts smoothly into the sauce.

Return the Shrimp: Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet, and mix to coat them well with the creamy garlic sauce. Cook for an additional minute just to heat through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve over cooked pasta or rice. Enjoy your flavorful dish!
