Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 hamburger buns

Lettuce leaves (for serving)

Tomato slices (for serving)

Pickles (optional, for serving)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.

Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to help it cook evenly.

Preheat your grill or a non-stick skillet over medium heat. If using a skillet, you can add a bit of oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the chicken patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar on each patty to melt.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on the bottom half of each bun. Add the melted cheddar ranch chicken patty, then top with pickles if desired. Finish by adding the top half of the bun.

Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers!
