8 oz penne pasta

1 lb chicken breast, diced

1 cup asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces

2 cups mushrooms, sliced (preferably cremini or button)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium onion, diced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the Penne: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the diced chicken breast with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
