Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets in the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet along with the drained penne and broccoli. Stir well to combine everything, then gradually add in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth.

Season and Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
