Ingredients

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slider buns (preferably brioche or potato)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup arugula or baby spinach

1 medium tomato, sliced

1 avocado, sliced

1/2 cup cowboy butter (recipe below)

For Cowboy Butter:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Cowboy Butter:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

      - Transfer the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Roll it into a log and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.

        Cook the Steak:

          - Season the thinly sliced steak generously with salt and pepper.

            - Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add a little oil if needed.

              - Cook the steak slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from heat.

                Assemble the Sliders:

                  - Slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast them on the skillet or grill for about 1 minute.

                    - Spread a generous amount of cowboy butter on each cut side of the buns.

                      - Layer the bottom half of each bun with a portion of the cooked steak, a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese, and a handful of arugula or spinach.

                        - Top with a slice of tomato and avocado before placing the bun tops back on.

                          Serve:

                            - Serve the sliders warm, with extra cowboy butter on the side for spreading if desired.
