Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1 cup refried beans

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/4 cup sour cream (for dipping)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water; simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per package instructions. Gently stretch each triangle to make it a bit bigger.

Assemble Taco Sticks: On each triangle, spread a layer of refried beans (about 1 tablespoon), a spoonful of the cooked beef mixture, diced tomatoes, olives (if using), and a generous amount of both cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.

Roll the Sticks: Starting from the wide end of the triangle, carefully roll up the dough toward the point, pinching tightly to seal the filling inside. Place them seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake: Lightly spray the tops of the taco sticks with cooking spray or brush with olive oil for a golden color. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Serve warm with a side of sour cream, topped with fresh cilantro for garnish.
