Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg, beaten

2 cups beef broth

1 cup fresh green beans, trimmed

4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced into cubes

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg. Mix until everything is nicely combined.

Form Patties: Shape the beef mixture into 4-6 equal-sized patties and set them aside.

Sear the Patties: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add cubed potatoes and green beans, stirring them briefly to coat in the leftover oil and flavors. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the Broth: Pour the beef broth over the vegetables in the skillet, making sure the potatoes and green beans are submerged.

Top with Patties: Place the seared hamburger patties on top of the vegetables.

Bake: Cover the skillet with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Add Cheese: After 30 minutes, remove the foil and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the patties. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving: Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
